Uncertain accessibility estimation method for offshore wind farm based on multi‐step probabilistic wave forecasting

Accessibility estimation is significant to the offshore wind farm operation and maintenance (O&M) due extremely limited weather window its sensitive effects on O&M tasks. Wave forecasting can be one solution help decision-making. However, uncertain dynamic properties of wave forecasts are seldom considered in accessibility process. This paper presents an method based a multi-step probabilistic height (MPWHF) model Monte Carlo simulation. First, MPWHF proposed using wavelet decomposition sequence (Seq2Seq) network with quantile outputs. Second, missions randomly given start time simulated flow chart by method. Finally, several access indexes, including probability, delay time, evaluated simulation results. Verification 7-year observation data buoy station. The results show that outperforms other counterparts probability nonlinearly dependent limits required time.
